Educators seek out opportunities for leadership to support student empowerment and success and to improve teaching and learning.
Leadership is very important to me. I have been blessed to be a part of Leadership Greater Huntsville's Connect-24 Class this year. As part of this class, I have had the opportunity to serve as a servant leader in my community through service projects with various non-profits in Huntsville.
Above is a Padlet timeline for student to show how they are able to transfer a Co-Op position from Calhoun Community College to a local partner university A&M, UAH, UNA, or Athens State. This initiative empowers students to become leaders by continuing their education.
In order to be a better leader, assessments and evaluations are important. Check out this self-evaluation rubric I created for my students.
